"Ing. Ondřej Beneš, Ph.D., MBA, LLM launched his meteoric career by studying at the Department of Water Technology and Environmental Engineering.
He completed both his master’s and doctoral studies at the Department of Water Technology and Environmental Engineering. During his Ph.D. studies, he managed to supplement his education with a second master’s degree, also at UCT Prague, in the field of Industrial Economics and Management. After completing his doctorate, he succeeded in a competitive selection process at Anglian Water, where he rose to the position of Operations Manager within just two years. His next steps led him back to the Czech Republic, specifically to Veolia Voda, where he held several positions — from Director of the Central Bohemian Waterworks, to Director of the North Bohemian Water and Sewerage Company, and eventually to Technical Director for the entire group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
