In addition to teaching the course Water Purity Protection, he is primarily involved at the Institute in the development and construction of laboratory-scale models of wastewater treatment processes, as well as the technical support and maintenance of water technology laboratories. His research also includes the removal of hydrogen sulfide from biogas using biomembrane reactors. More recently, he has been coordinating the preparation of the Applied Research Centre in Dobříš.
